"RIDE the ADVENTURE TRAIL WITH RED RYDER...the fast-shootin', hard-ridin' hero of millions"

Outlaw Dave McKean and his henchmen take possession of the deserted town of Desert Springs. That's bad luck for some pioneers on their way to Desert Springs. The idea of the pioneers is to set up a stop there for the new stagecoach line. To ensure customers, they have brought a number of families who want to settle near the town. McKean has intercepted a letter intended for hotel owner John Larkin. With this letter in hand, McKean can give the pioneers a big chop.
