1870. The railway is important for the reconstruction of the country and profiteers who know about the route are eager to buy the land by that route. Colonel Ryder wants to take strict action against the profiteers, but is shot dead. His son Red goes after the perpetrators, but does not know that there are also accomplices among his confidants.
