Blondie Bumstead finds a valuable watch hidden by her husband Dagwood. She assumes that the watch is intended as a wedding gift and that Dagwood wants to surprise her with it. But the truth is that Dagwood has to guard the watch on behalf of a customer, who bought it as a gift for his own wife. Comic complications follow.
