"Blondie has a baby... Dagwood has a fit... You'll have hysterics!"

As the Bumsteads eagerly await the stork's arrival, father-to-be Dagwood is so distracted by thoughts of the baby that his work begins to suffer, much to the anger of his boss JC Dithers. Dagwood's antics also begin to annoy mother-to-be Blondie. To ease the tension, Dithers sends Dagwood to an architect's convention in Chicago.
