Blondie on a Budget plot

"Balance your fun budget."

Blondie is in charge of the household budget and she sees no opportunity to buy a new fur coat. However, her husband Dagwood has the audacity to spend $200 on a fishing club membership. Then an old, but very attractive, flame from Dagwood comes along, who can borrow $200 without a problem. However, Dagwood cannot accept this and constantly feels guilty being alone with his old girlfriend. Blondie also gets the wrong signals, causing jealousy to overwhelm her.
