Mr. Dithers goes on vacation and leaves his company in the hands of Dagwood Bumstead (Arthur Lake). So Toby Clifton (Adele Jergens) sees his chance to take advantage of Dagwood's naivete. Fortunately for the latter, Blondie (Penny Singleton) comes to his rescue, sparing him the greatest disgrace.
