Blondie in Society plot
Dagwood Bumstead returns home with a huge Great Dane as a favor to an old friend. It turns out that this giant dog has a pedigree. That's why Waldo Pincus, an important customer of Dagwood's boss JC Dithers, wants to buy the dog. But Blondie has since gone to a dog show with her new pet, eventually winning $500 in prize money and beating the previous champion, a dog owned by Waldo. Dagwood is then on the brink of losing his job…
