"YOUR FAVORITE TROUBLE SHOOTERS READY FOR ACTION!"
Wyoming city boss Sam Tredwell doesn't want his region to join the Union, and he's doing everything he can to prevent it. Tredwell has local newspaper publisher Ward Beecham murdered, who is in favor of affiliation. But his combative widow Kansas Kate Connors takes over from her husband. She comes into conflict with her son David, who turns out to have defected to Tredwell's camp. Kansas Kate then enlists the help of 'Stony' Brooke, 'Tucson' Smith and 'Lullaby' Joslin, aka 'The Three Mesquiteers', in hopes of solving her problems with Tredwell and her son.
