Thundering Trails plot

"THE MESQUITEERS RIDE AGAIN!...HUNTING A VICIOUS BAND OF KILLERS WHO TRY TO TAKE THE LAW INTO THEIR OWN HANDS!"

Monroe County, Texas, 1871. The Texas Rangers in Monroe County are disbanded due to lack of money. Monroe County then organizes its own police force led by Johnny Brooke. All ranchers now have to pay for their protection. It soon turns out that those who don't pay are being killed by an outlaw gang, who receives orders from the corrupt Judge Morgan, who also has a spy in Brooke's police force. The Three Mesquiteers, consisting of "Stony" Brooke, "Tucson" Smith and "Lullaby" Joslin, set out to help prominent rancher Ben Walker, but the trio are accused of his murder and attempting to rob a stagecoach.
