Oklahoma Renegades plot
At the end of the Spanish-American War, Brooke, Rusty Joslin and Rico, better known as the "Three Mesquiteers", return to Oklahoma. They worry about their wounded comrades, who have little prospect of a good future. When the government announces it plans to give tracts of land in Oklahoma territory to war veterans, the three men summon their old comrades to meet in Oklahoma. Once there, the veterans receive a hostile welcome from the ranchers who don't like the arrival of these newcomers. Not only do Mace Liscomb and his brother Orv want to drive out the newcomers, but they also try to fool the ranchers and claim the tracts of land for themselves.
