The Phantom Plainsmen plot
Wyoming, 1937. Tucson Smith, Stony Brooke and Lullaby Joslin, aka The Three Mesquiteers, work hard together on Captain Marvin's Wyoming ranch. Marvin breeds horses that he wants to sell to Kurt Redman. Marvin doesn't want to sell horses to an army, but The Three Mesquiteers find out that Redman works for the Nazis and wants to transport the horses straight to The Third Reich. When Marvin tries to stop Redman, his son Tad Marvin, who is studying medicine in Germany, is arrested and taken hostage. Marvin is forced to fire The Three Mesquiteers at the urging of the sneaky German agents who want to take over his ranch. The Three Mesquiteers are not about to give up their efforts to stop these Nazi agents.
