Heroes of the Hills plot

The Three Mesquiteers decide to turn their ranch into a prison, because there is simply not enough space in the regular prisons. Beaton, the boss of the company that builds the prisons, is vehemently against this, because he has been waiting for years for a new contract to build additional prisons. He decides to thwart the plan of Stony Brooke, Tucson Smith and Lullaby Joslin.
