Pioneers of the West plot
Omaha, 1876. A caravan of settlers heads west and is attacked by Indians on the way. The 'wagon master' Dr. Bailey kills. Stony Brooke, Rusty Joslin and Roco, aka The Three Mesquiteers, then volunteer to escort the settlers to their new home in the Overland Valley. When they arrive, the settlers find that they have paid too much money to Judge Platt for the land they were given. But they eventually get to work building their houses. The Three Mesquiteers arrange livestock for the settlers so they can start their own herds. When Platt finds out that a railroad is being built across the settlers' territory, he wants them to pay a lot of taxes and if not, he wants to drive them off their land with the help of outlaws led by Steve Carson. The Three Mesquiteers plan to aid the settlers in their fight against Platt.
