The Odyssey plot
"Defy the gods."
Odysseus, the king of the island of Ithaca, undertakes a dangerous and long journey home after the fall of Troy. During the difficult task, he and his crew come face to face with all kinds of creatures, including the sirens, the cyclops Polyphemus and Circe, the daughter of the sun god. Meanwhile, Odysseus' wife Penelope fends off suitors in Ithaca and his son Telemachus goes in search of his father.
