Schoolvoorbeeld van een overhypete film natuurlijk waarvan de hoge rating echt grotendeels afkomstig is van nostalgia bait en covid relief (eindelijk eens naar de cinema na zoveel lockdowns) neem ik aan. Want verder is dit toch maar een heel gemiddelde film die wel kan entertainen maar veel grote problemen heeft qua script. En veel wordt ook uitgelegd door "magie" waardoor je ook al niet veel meer moet uitleggen. De enige indrukwekkende scènes imo zijn in de spiegeldimensie, de rest is gewoon maar gemiddeld. Zelfs het idee/concept is niet zo indrukwekkend want het is gejat van een andere spiderman film.

Het plekje in de IMDb top 250 is verder belachelijk
