Maar ik versta wel uitstekend Engels, en die subs waren er wel. Visueel inderdaad erg fijn, en prima vertolkingen. Prachtig om Udo Kier nog even zoveel indruk te zien maken. Maar stiekem werd ik niet zo gegrepen als ik had gehoopt, waardoor een echt hoge waardering uitblijft.

Ainda Estou Aqui (2024) is voor nu de betere film, wat mij betreft. Al scheelt het ook weer niet vreselijk veel.

Die schietpartij iets na 2 uur en een kwartier vond ik wel bijzonder goed gedaan. Dat zie je niet vaak op deze manier. Het komt wat traag op gang, maar de laatste akte van de film is wel een stuk grijpender.
