Vigilantes of Boomtown plot

"THE WEST BOOMS TO THE ROAR OF SIX-GUNS! Red rides an action-packed trail to red-blooded adventure!"

The ranch of Red Ryder and his aunt 'The Duchess' is used as a training site for boxer 'Gentleman Jim' Corbett for his upcoming fight in Carson City, Nevada. It will be a heavyweight boxing match against Bob Fitzsimmons. But Molly McVey, the daughter of a US senator who is on a crusade against prize fighting in Nevada, complicates matters somewhat. Molly has the bright idea of having Corbett kidnapped, causing the boxing match to be canceled. However, the two men Molly hires to kidnap Corbett kidnap Ryder instead of Corbett. Meanwhile, a gang of outlaws led by McKean is on their way to Carson City to loot the city and steal the proceeds from the boxing match.
