Can't wait to see the whole show! But first i want to see the full Game of Thrones series. But i know it is a prequel.

After Game of Thrones I was curious about this series. And I must say he started very strong with the young Rhaenyra and Alicent . When these were replaced I thought the series was going downhill fast and almost didn't feel like looking any further. Not even that they played very badly, but it just wasn't. Still cheated and I must honestly say after a few lesser episodes with a news cast and continuously pregnant women, the series got better again and the ending was very strong. I wonder how it will continue now. Wanted to give it a 3 but the ending made up for it 3.5 stars and hope season 2 continues like this.

Not as good as the game of thrones. The series is generally much too dark, the women in this series are continuously pregnant and the storyline is not very special. I found the time jumps quite confusing as this is not indicated. Hence 2 stars.

This is appallingly poorly put together. Everything is so predictable that you could almost write along with the script. There is hardly any suspense or surprise left. By now, it is starting to look more like an exorbitantly expensive medieval spin-off of Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden than House of the Dragon.
Endless scheming, dramatic glances, inflated dialogue, and so-called twists that you see coming from miles away. For a series about power, betrayal, and political intrigue, it is almost impressive how little suspense they manage to extract.
Yes, it looks beautiful, but if the story is so predictable and bland, there is little left but a very expensive costume drama. Plenty of dragons, plenty of fire, but the script itself just won't ignite.
