Tucson Raiders plot

"RED RYDER...NO. 1 COMIC STRIP HERO OF FANS FROM COAST-TO-COAST! Dashing, fearless, exciting...riding to his most amazing action adventure on the trail of desperate killers who terrorize the West...."

The year is 1895. Painted Valley is ruled by Governor York. 'Gabby' Hopkins and the Duchess resist the York regime to no avail. The Duchess therefore summons Red Ryder and his faithful young friend Little Beaver. But Red is soon wrongly accused of murdering Judge Stark and arrested by the corrupt Sheriff Kirk. The Duchess' girlfriend Hannah Rogers, who also hates York, tries to free Red from prison with Little Beaver. During his flight, Red manages to prevent a robbery of a money transport, but Little Beaver is captured by the bandits, who work for York.
