The Brides of Dracula plot
"He Turned Innocent Beauty Into Unspeakable Horror."
Young Marianne (Yvonne Monlaur) is passing through when she is stranded in a small village. She is invited by Baroness Meinster (Martita Hunt) to spend the night in her castle. The Baroness holds her own son (David Peel) captive, saying he is mentally ill and depraved. Marianne manages to free him, but the young Baron Meinster is as bloodthirsty as he is attractive. On her escape from the castle, Marianne encounters Dr. Van Helsing (Peter Cushing), who has just arrived in the region at the request of the local priest.
