Pride of the Bowery plot
"HE WAS A Tough Little Softie who swings straight from the heart"
Danny, Mugs' boxing manager, sends him off to a training camp. Mugs' arrogant attitude means that the others don't know much about him. When one of the boys, Willie, informs them that he needs money for his ailing mother, Mugs registers for a boxing tournament in town. When Mugs loses, Willie robs the camp safe. Mugs, however, is accused.
