Frankenstein Unbound plot
"Classic terror is now state-of-the-art shock."
A scientist ends up in a black hole via mysterious 'laser implosions', sending him back in time. He practically lands in the arms of Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who has just put the finishing touches to his creature. Lord Byron, Percy Shelley and Mary Shelley (Bridget Fonda) were living in a nearby Geneva villa at the time, the latter of whom was the practice of Dr. Frankenstein follows to gain inspiration for her later famous novel Frankenstein: or, the modern Prometheus. In reality, the three writers spent nights reading obscure German ghost stories from the book Fantasmagoriana. Convinced that they could do better themselves, they challenged each other to write a horror story.
