A beautiful romantic film with the necessary tension.

I wanted to give 3.5 but the terrible acting performances of Patrick Swayze (gosh, that man can't act!) and Tony Goldwin bring the level of the film down.

The film is fortunately still kept straight by Demi Moore. Still 3 stars!

Saw it a long time ago, but of course I forgot. That must have been in the years after the release and I was probably no older than eight years. Still, the key scenes stuck and Ghost felt like a nice review.

I don't usually watch romantic movies. Often it's more about bland comedy and sexual drive than real romance, in short, the emotional depth of a dog turd. Sometimes I make an exception and that makes me record a movie like Ghost for a while. Of course, it also has to do with supernatural elements. I wouldn't do it for the actors (especially Demi Moore), although they are all (Swayze first) not too bad.

Love doesn't radiate directly from Ghost now. You do get the famous clay scene (which I especially remember from the parodies --> Naked Gun) which, indeed, is nicely done. The spark does fly from the moment of Sam's death, because then you can actually see the lack. Slowly more and more plot lines are interfering with the case, so that you don't really have to get bored and there appears to be an interesting crime plot linked to the fate, where the victim's best friend is responsible. . The scenes with Whoopi, the medium, Goldberg are also quite nice. The sparse jokes in the film are still quite fun. Ghost is sometimes very light-hearted, at other times very macabre. Nice role by Vincent Schiavelli as the metro ghost, but the horror moments when the souls of bad guys are taken after his death, are nice and macabre.

Ghost has a smooth story, with interesting characters, but some strong scenes. The ending is very moving and just the way I like my romantic movies.

Ghost especially stays with me as a very intense and especially warm film. The story, no matter how unreal, still works well on your feeling. The cast delivers brilliant acting. You should see this film more often because it doesn't get boring quickly.
