Si C'était Lui... plot

Valentin, a young man is near despair. He has lost everything: his dear girlfriend, his job and his apartment. He is staying in the big house of an uncle who is absent. On the same floor also lives a young, independent woman Hélène with her daughter. Hélène is a successful author of books denouncing social inequality. Despite their different characters and interests, Valentin and Hélène gradually approach each other.
