The lust for power and betrayal reign supreme during the final days of the court of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette (Diane Kruger). The Revolution is inevitable. One of Marie Antoinette's readers, Sidonie (Léa Seydoux), experiences it all from the front row. The endless corridors echo the cries of help from hungry subjects.
