Indian actor Hrundi V. Bakshi makes a mess during the filming of a costume drama and is added to the 'fire this person' list. If a mistake is made with two name lists, his name will appear on the guest list of an elite party. He goes there and everyone assumes he's just invited. Then the misunderstandings begin.

A messy movie is a frequently used criticism on this website. In a comedy like the party (1968), however, it does work (to laugh). Especially in the beginning very lame humor, but as the film progresses it gets a bit funnier. The nice set plays a major role in this.
