Inez is a respected law professor who leads a research group dedicated to the review of wrongful convictions. She is trying to prove the innocence of a young man convicted of a crime he claims he did not commit. What Inez does not know is that her brightest student, Marina, had a hidden agenda when she visited her: she wants to right an injustice that deeply affected her family in the past.
