Hightown plot
Jackie Quinones is a lesbian in Provincetown, Massachusetts, also known as P-Town. She works as a National Marine Fisheries Service Agent but likes to misuse her gun and badge to seduce tourists. She doesn't spend her time too enthusiastically until she can take a federal pension. All this changes when she discovers a body in Cape Cod Bay, and she becomes the center of the Cape's horrific heroin epidemic.

I've seen the first three seasons. In short: the first season took some getting used to because of the type of characters. Not really common for a crime series. This turned out really well because I thought season two was even stronger due to the thorough exploration of those characters. Season three was a bit less for me due to the fact that the complications became such that it all went towards the improbable. Despite that, this is a great series that continues to fascinate. No real cliffhanger at the end of the third season, but enough open ends to make a fourth season. And I definitely want to see that.
