After finding success in her early years, brilliant septuagenarian Madeline Matlock returns to the workforce at a prestigious law firm. Madeline is assigned to Olympia, a senior attorney with a thirst for justice. Olympia's ex-husband, Julian, the son of the firm's head, is intrigued by Matty and her shrewd skills. Madeline uses her unassuming demeanor and cunning tactics to win cases and expose corruption within the firm.
