An animated film that had been on the list to see for a long time, but didn't really appeal to me. In the end it did come about. It's strange that this one appears to be so rarely seen here. Although I understand that after watching the movie.

Nowadays it is already 3D what the clock is, but with this film it is very outdated. The techniques will be good enough for that time, but after 10 years everything feels quite stiff. Moreover, those Djeds are very ugly. The story itself isn't bad, although it's a bit of an eye-catcher. Moreover, several figures do not come out of the paint at all. Think of the Djeds who could use more personality as an enemy.

The whole thing comes across as a cross between Star Wars and the Disney film Treasure Planet, but with a lower budget. Nice to see once, but it shouldn't have been necessary.

Completely forgotten after its release. Nobody talks about it and Titan AE didn't deserve it. It's not a hit, but it wouldn't look out of place in the current wave of post-apocalyptic movies. Titan AE nevertheless offers a very entertaining story about a destroyed Earth and a group of survivors seeking a new life. The Drej are average bad guys, but the other alien societies, nice chases and the ship that has to provide a restart of the Earth, offer enough possibilities for a nice story. The drawing style is reminiscent of the better animated films from the eighties and nineties. I find the addition of computer animations less successful. The film clearly focuses on the older youth. This Star Wars-esque spectacle is not really deep. It is entertaining though.

For its time the cream of the crop in terms of animation, but a story that looks rather sloppy and comes out simplistic. In minutes you have a new habitable planet , in a few moments Cale and Akima restore a spaceship and pass their enemies .... Nice job everyone, but the creators go far wrong to sketch a fascinating universe: those aliens looked nothing and all the secondary characters are hardly interesting.
