Kim-bu-jang plot
Kim Do-hyeon (codename "CODE-66") is a former elite spy who operated between North and South Korea. He left his violent past behind to quietly raise his daughter Min-ji as an ordinary office worker at a savings bank. When his daughter is suddenly kidnapped, he is forced to reactivate his deadly skills and risk everything to save her. I know I'm not really allowed to, but I dare to give this series a five after just five episodes. It's sometimes called a drama thriller, but it's actually a black comedy. Serious things happen, such as the kidnapping of someone's daughter, and the not-so-simple way to raise a child alone.
But otherwise, it is so over the top that it is genuinely hilarious at times. Especially Yoon, who plays Park Jin-Cheol, is truly delightful.
This isn't going to be for everyone, but for me it worked just fine. And everyone acted fantastically, in the South Korean way, of course. Great series.
