A really disgustingly bad film. It's a shame really because I thought the first film was okay. The humor is cringe-inducing bad. With a transformer with a beard and stick as the low point There is no story and the film also lasts way too long .There seemed to be no end to it. Just a star for the CGI.

Same.

For a moment I feared that I would give this an insufficient, but luckily Bay saves things a bit in the end. This part actually adds very little to the series, except that 1 new super villain has been added.

LeBeouf remains fine, Fox disappointed me. Duhamel and Gibson also add very little, what's left are some pretty spectacular scenes. Especially the opening, but also the closing phase were impressive, and they still lift the film to just enough.

An advantage is that it all looks beautiful again. The fast, flashy action is sometimes a bit too fast so that it rushes past you, but in general it's all fine to follow. Too bad that forced humor is so present full of annoying types. Mother Witwicky was especially terrible.

For the rest 150 minutes is quite long, but it knows how to entertain. It all looks great, and in the final phase Bay lets go of all the brakes. Room has also been made for some cool robots, such as that shredder was a lovely sight.

Realistically, of course not. If the annoying humor had been a little less and the film had been less predictable, this could have been a hit. But now it is for what it is.
