Kick-Ass plot
"Shut up. Kick-ass."
Dave is a nerd in high school, has few friends, lives alone with his father and is a huge fan of comic books. One day he decides that he wants to become a superhero, just like in one of his comic books. The problem is, however, that he has no superpowers and seems doomed to fail. His self-made suit and bravado cannot prevent him from getting a good beating in his first confrontations with real criminals. On his way, however, he meets some special allies.

Again, I agree with namingway24.
Kick-Ass is a very entertaining film, 1 of the highest level. The jokes, (comic) violence splash off the screen. Chloe Moretz is a real genius as Hit-Girl and the rest of the cast does a great job as well. Was quite impressed myself with Lyndsy Fonseca, who plays Katie. What a beauty hehe.
Also recognized a beautiful composition by Enrico Morricone at the end, for the rest the film also has a Kick-Ass soundtrack.
Truly the surprise of the year, it's going to be tough for a 2010 movie to top Kick-Ass.

Based on the Mark Millar and John Romita comic book of the same name in which self-proclaimed “invisible nerd” Dave Lizewski [Aaron Taylor-Johnson] dreams of being a superhero, so his classmate Katie [Lyndsy Fonseca] finally sees him. He decides to buy a superhero suit and walks around town waiting for a chance to prove himself. When that opportunity fortunately presents itself, his alter ego Kick-Ass becomes a media sensation. That doesn't go down well with Damon [Nicholas Cage] and Mindy Macready [Chloë Grace Moretz}, who have been keeping the streets safe as superheroes Big Daddy and Hit-Girl for quite some time. Much more concerning is the fact that millionaire master criminal Frank D'Amcio [Mark Strong] plans to get Kick-Ass out of the way for good. An entertaining, imaginative action comedy with sharp characterizations, entertaining and at times impressive action sequences and Nicholas Cage who hilariously portrays Adam West as Batman. Moretz isn't bad either. Got an inferior sequel in 2013: Kick-Ass 2.
