Very good movie

Very satisfied with this movie.

Only towards the end (the train scene) was a bit too long for me.

But the rest of the film was very well put together.

It is also fascinating to watch.

Very curious about part 2.

Big 4 stars & Tom Cruise proves once again that he is one of the best actors

I'm not really a fan of Tom Cruise who is kind of a jerk. But from MI 4 onwards, the franchise became quite enjoyable. And when Cruise isn't busy looking in the mirror, he's a strong stuntman. That also comes in handy in this 7th part. Mission Impossible must have the stunts and dash of humor with the necessary tension. And perhaps it is because of stretching the story to make it into a two-part film that there is some unnecessary ballast in it and the energy was sometimes a bit out. A slightly too large cast with few getting the necessary airplay. I miss the fun and real excitement. It was included in the action scenes.

Because that has to be said. The 'greatest stunt in film history' according to the newspapers (Jackie Chan and predecessor Buster Keaton will laugh at that) is now no big secret. Cinematically there are better stunts, although it is still worth the effort and making it must have been quite dangerous. Definitely kudos to Cruise for that. The initial chase and the final are better. The initial chase was very reminiscent of Fast X, which doesn't help when the exact same location is used. Partly similar, although MI just does its own thing and that was quite nice to see. The finale was also impressive and fit nicely into the franchise.

Hollywood needs to stop cutting their franchise finals into 2 or 3 with movies that are way too long. As a result, you also get too much unnecessary padding. You can completely delete the scenes with actor Shea Whigham. MI 7 is not the best part of the series, but it is a nice blockbuster with some pleasant moments.

In the seventh film in the MI franchise, Ethan Hunt [Tom Cruise] travels the world to find the two halves of a key. Exactly what they are for, hardly anyone knows, but it is certain that whoever holds the keys has access to 'The Entity', a deadly form of AI Is full of plot holes and silly situations ( including a sniper who hits everything despite a sandstorm , a runaway steam train in the Alps), but the shortcomings are compensated by a pleasant dose of self-mockery and excellent acting. Haley Atwell holds his own as a thief who becomes Ethan's main ally, but Pom Klementieff and Vanessa Kirby also do a great job as a fanatical mercenary (with a hint of Xenia Onatopp) and a notorious arms dealer, respectively. Breathtaking as an action film, but they could have largely omitted all that moaning about 'The Entity' and the dangers of AI. The sequel is expected in 2024.

Cruise delivers once again in another strong installment of the "Mission" franchise. Not as stirring as "Fallout" but still effective!
