This is a weak imitation of Jaws with a climate change twist. I have rarely seen such poor acting in a series; I already knew Hartnett wasn't a great talent, but the others don't surpass the quality of people acting in a village play.
I could make that iceberg better myself on my old laptop; it's ridiculously bad. Much of the fog also clearly came from the fog machine.
The only nice thing was the song by Gordon Lightfoot and the beautiful Canadian scenery; for the rest, absolutely B-level...

An entertaining but ultimately somewhat disappointing miniseries about a sea monster terrorizing a small port town in Newfoundland. The plot gets off to a pleasant start with plenty of Jaws elements, but along the way, the script veers off in directions that do not always prove successful or logical. Fortunately, the likeable cast and visual spectacle keep things on track.
