"The future belongs to the mad."
The film is set in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken and where almost everyone is mad and fighting for the necessities of life. In this world of fire and blood, two rebels are on the run who might be able to restore order. Max (Tom Hardy), a man of action and few words, tries to find peace of mind after losing his wife and child in the wake of the chaos. Furiosa (Charlize Theron), a woman of action who can achieve her path to survival if she makes it through the desert back to her childhood homeland.

I also found it very disappointing, given the very high ratings from the critics (an average of 90 on Metacritic!). The whole movie offers just bizarre and over-the-top action and spectacle and I understand that's the fun of it, that is, I understand that 12-year-old boys are totally into it. their roof but I don't really know what to do with it as an adult. I also have that with all those superhero films like Avengers: as a 10- or at most 12-year-old you read the superhero comics, but then you entered a new phase in your life. Maybe I can no longer discover the child in myself, but these kinds of films are not for me.

An insane roller coaster ride, a funfair on wheels. Visually strong, in terms of color use very decent. The action scenes are phenomenal and sometimes even artistic. Absurd.
