Exceptionally well-made, immersive film adaptation of the true rescue of a Thai football team that got stuck in the Tham Luang cave during an unexpected rain shower. I already knew the first-class documentary The Rescue, but even though you know how things will end in advance, the events are portrayed so excitingly that you involuntarily find yourself on the edge of your seat again. Viggo Mortensen and Colin Farrell are well cast as the English divers who get involved in the rescue. And Ron Howard is simply the perfect director for this kind of movie.

Watched the film on prime today, saw it earlier but didn't watch it immediately because of the somewhat long running time. Anyway, the 2.5 hours looked good. Had expected something more exciting, just missed that little bit for egt a high grade. Great acting, impressive story. and in terms of tension even though I expected a little more, more than enough. knowing it's true makes it just that little bit better. Find the figure on imdb and moviemeter pretty accurate. I actually wanted to give a 7.5 but unfortunately that is not possible. Found a 7 too little and an 8 actually too much. so a small advantage now. Well worth a look.

Great drama and a nice tribute to all involved. The film seems a bit on the long side, but Howard manages to make it a beautiful and fascinating whole. The film never gets boring for a moment and remains exciting until the end, with a number of beautiful and breathtaking scenes, sometimes literally. He also clearly shows how one is forced to take risks and how many people besides the divers have played a role. A nice overview, without shorting anyone. The acting is fine. Visually, everything is beautifully portrayed with excellent camera work. topper. 4.0/4.5
