Beautiful movie, what? Great story and humor is also a regular customer in this movie.

The link to the soundtrack is above, perhaps nostalgia for the past, but I sometimes miss this music these days.

Rating a 10! which I give to few films.

After Where Eagles Dare, Kelly's Heroes had to come of course. The first was still in my head at times, the second was not. Kelly's Heroes full of famous stars has mainly become a fun war film that also comes across as serious at times. the minefield. Nicely portrayed by the way. The film looks great on BD after 48 years and it always amazes me that older films often look better than films say the 80s. Perhaps it has to do with the filters that later become much more The sound is sometimes unbalanced, although the many explosions often thunder into your living room. The film has a nice build-up to the end. The absolute protagonist is Donald Sutherland. Great role again by him. It's also funny that Clint Eastwood is actually himself is never comical or it must be his dry humor. The tranquility itself almost in every film. Both still very much alive! The chosen music is also nice to listen to with a western touch at the end. Die Karl O tto Alberty at the end is also still in our midst. By the way, real Germans are used in this film, although their role is a lot smaller than in Where Eagles Dare.

There are also downsides. Telly aka Kojak keeps on screaming all the time. Ruins the movie a bit and what "Archie Bunker" was supposed to do in this movie is beyond me. Apparently he had to have a role as a famous person. Also saw JR in Eagle has Landed. But Connor would have liked me out of the movie. We also hadn't missed in Kelly's Heroes.

Despite the negatives, a very nice entertaining war film that is rarely made!!

I had never seen this one either. Somehow I always confuse this one with The Dirty Dozen. But now finally. The heroism of the war film has somewhat disappeared here with the 1960s just behind the times. Basically a heist film in the middle of WW2. Donald Sutherland as a hippie on the Sherman tank. Just a little further and then we are already in M*A*S*H*. War movies are also not my favorite genre, this is just nice and different, smooth action, a bit of humor and that's how these two and a half hours fly by.
