While the first part is certainly still to be tasted because of the fact that it only gives a good picture of the 'revolt' (revolution) that took place in Cuba, the second part is exclusively about his actions in Bolivia. It is there that he also died, so in a way I understand the director's choice. I would have preferred in this second part that his other wanderings in the world were also discussed and that it was not limited to Bolivia. His stay in Bolivia is shown in detail, which made it a bit boring. Nothing but praise for Benicio's role as Che. I would have liked to have seen more of Che's personality/motives/... of Che. This stays too much in the background. A bit of a shame when you see how magnificent Benicio does in his role. Perhaps it would have been better made into a miniseries or series like Netflix did with the drug lord Plabo (Narco). Che's biography lends itself more than enough to that...

After the Cuban revolution, Che was quite active in stirring up the revolution in other countries. In part 2 it goes to Bolivia and unfortunately that is a repetition of what you saw in part 1. Except you see that his mission becomes a perilous one from the start. Visually it looks fine again, but because I haven't seen much really new stuff, this only scores a meager pass.

Ché part 2, and unfortunately a continuation of the first part in terms of tone. Distant as mentioned above, scrambling through the jungle and Del Toro as an asthmatic worker ant trying to control everything. While the first is a bit interesting, the second doesn't at all. Everything remains superficial again and his trip to the Congo even remains completely unspoken, as does his questionable status/history.

Unfortunately, maybe it's just a far-from-my-bed show. We don't know much about that history, other culture, so it might be even less appealing.
