The Doors plot

"The ceremony is about to begin."

The life story of Jim Morrison (Val Kilmer), from his college days in Los Angeles to his death in Paris in 1971, barely 27 years old. We follow the 'Electric Poet' on and behind the stage along with Pamela Curson (Meg Ryan) and The Doors (Kyle MacLachlan, Frank Whaley, Kevin Dillon) as silent witnesses to his drug addiction and obsession with death. This film explains how a man, despite his tender age, could become the figurehead of a generation and become the incarnation of the Age of Aquarius.
