In June 1993 a miraculous concert takes place in Helsinki, Finland. The well-known 'Leningrad Cowboys' are on stage to give a one-off concert together with the Russian 'Red Army Chorus'; The many men of the Leningrad Cowboys and the 160-member Russian Alexandrov Red Army Ensemble give their concert on a stage specially made for this concert on the Senate Square in the center of Helsinki, in front of 70,000 ecstatic spectators. Aki Kaurismäki and his film crew were there, and have immortalized this performance on film.
