"Can't we all just get along?"
When the latest play by writer Robert mercilessly flops, Robert decides to retire to the village where he grew up. There he hopes to have time to think about his career, but also about his marriage. Very exciting is that in recent years, and now that an old flame is returning in his life, the temptation is great to give in to this. Unfortunately, Robert doesn't get much time to think when he immediately bumps into the criminal Gus he used to live down the street from. While Robert does his best to keep distance between himself and Gus, he doesn't pass up the opportunity to get to know his now famous acquaintance. Two men at a pivotal point in their lives. All past decisions are questioned and past mistakes can no longer be denied.
