Pusher 3 plot

"I'm the angel of death."

Middle-aged Serbian mobster Milo has been clean for a few days and visits a support group every day for moral support. In the meantime, he is still busy with his drug trade and has just received a batch of ecstasy pills… unfortunately instead of the expected heroin. He consults with his Albanian supplier to keep the pills until the heroin arrives. He manages to arrange with a young Turkish dealer that he will sell the pills for him. Milo himself is very busy making treats for his daughter's birthday party, and his companions are unfortunately sick of his 'delicious' sarma. Things go horribly wrong, however, and Milo's day goes from bad to worse.

The Pusher trilogy is low-budget documentary cinema. It is remarkable how Refn's style has evolved into what it is today and how the filmmaker has reinvented himself in the field of color, imagery and music, but also as an author. The trilogy has not lost any of its strength and is still rock solid. The three films together form a coherent whole. That's great, at a time when the pretentious, over-stylized crime films were flying around you under the influence of Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie. The Pusher films focus not only on the raw gangster existence, but also, and perhaps even more so, on relationships between fathers, sons, partners and friends. It is a three-part humanistic portrait of people on the fringes of society who have to fight for every inch of existence in order to survive.

Once again a very good part from the Pusher series in which, just like in part 2, and in contrast to part 1, an attempt is made to portray a more human protagonist for whom you develop a certain sympathy.

The story is the same, the sad and gray underworld in Copenhagen, this time no Mikkelsen but dealer Milo who is followed and who gets wet from the rain and in the meantime still tries to meet certain expectations as a father. Love that attitude and that head of Buric and especially the ending is of course magnificent when the Pole and the Albanian are pressed into the garbage mill. Delicious!

Top film for those who like gray, sad and raw crime.

Pusher 3 is the final part of the trilogy with a great protagonist. Milo played by Zlatko Buric is pure enjoyment. This whole part is captivating from start to finish. Fun moments and crime as it should be. Very strong mix between humor and violence.
