Wu Lang Ba Gua Gun plot
Yang Ye, the head of the Yang family, and his seven sons are sent by the emperor to fight against the Tartars. However, it turns out to be a trap set by Pan Mei, once friends with the family but now seeking revenge for the death of a relative. In the fight, the father and five of the brothers are killed while the sixth brother (Sheng Fu) goes insane. The fifth brother (Chia Hui Liu) flees to a Shaolin temple where, because of his temperament, he comes into conflict with the monks. Partly because of his urge for revenge, he is not accepted, but his skills are still insufficient to take revenge himself. He really needs the temple for his purpose.
