The Matrix Revolutions

This last part should bring the story to a convincing end. The fight for Zion, Neo and Trinity's journey to the heart of the Matrix, the final battle between Neo and Agent Smith, etc. Everything feels epic. Unfortunately, it also feels a bit empty. Most of the characters are cardboard thin and the fight for Zion is impressive, but you get so beaten up with Sentinels and shelling that at some point you don't care what happens to Zion and who dies. The combat is also served up a bit unimaginatively. Neo and Trinity's journey to the center of the Matrix is fairly boring at first, but as the journey progresses it becomes more exciting and dramatic. That's also because unlike the characters in Zion, you empathize with Neo and Trinity. Morpheus is hanging around again and it's frustrating to see such an interesting character end like this.

All in all, The Matrix Revolutions is a reasonable ending to a trilogy that peaked in the first film but then loses itself in a muddled plot, too much CGI, pretentious dialogue and not very strong acting. The last part is one big fight after another without much depth. Now that doesn't have to be a problem, but here it's all cluttered and worse, you don't really empathize with the characters. Add half a star for the final fight between Agent Smith and Neo, fantastic. Hugo Weaving is also the actor that stands out far above.

Insanely cool films that Matrix trilogy

Everything is in here for the action enthusiast.

Great atmosphere, characters, fascinating story and did I mention a lot of action!!!

I think this third part is the coolest because everything now leads to a Grande finale.

I'd say sit back and enjoy this brutal sf action movie
