Far and Away plot
"What they needed was a country big enough for their dreams."
Late 1800s: A young man leaves Ireland with his landlord's daughter, and they dream of a piece of land in Oklahoma. When they arrive in the new country, they find work and start saving. The man becomes a boxer, and has great success until he is defeated once. His employers steal all his money, leaving the couple starving for a winter. Meanwhile, the woman's parents come to America to take her back.
