Französisch für Anfänger plot
Henrik finds France a particularly unattractive country. Nevertheless, he participates in a Franco-German exchange program. The reason: Valerie, a half-French girl he's madly in love with. Hoping to win her heart, he leaves for France with Valerie, his best friend Johannes and a group of students. Wild parties, exciting outings, a crazy host family, and of course his problems with the French language ensure that his summer, initially unintentionally, becomes memorable.
