Little Miss Marker plot
Little girl Marthy "Marky" Jane is abandoned by her father with the gambler Sorrowful Jones after a lost bet on a horse race track. Sorrowful and his gang of criminal gamblers then take care of her. Reluctantly at first, but Marky's charms seem to change their cynical attitude.
