Braziliaanse eco-thriller met sympathiek en urgent uitgangspunt. Vier vrouwen gaan als een soort Charlie's Angels zonder Charlie, op pad in het Amazonewoud om een milieudelict te ontrafelen. Met hulp en advies van Greenpeace zit in de thematiek veel potentie en actie. Waar de ingrediënten spannend en actueel lijken, is de uitwerking helaas ondermaats. Het scenario is voorspelbaar, karakters zijn eendimensionaal, het acteerwerk matig en enerverend en meeslepend wordt het nooit. Net zoals bij een aantal andere Lumière-titels de laatste jaren, lijdt de kwaliteit van het aanbod onder de grote vraag.

Where the ingredients seem exciting and topical, the effect is unfortunately substandard. The scenario is predictable, characters are one-dimensional, the acting is mediocre and exciting and it never becomes compelling. As with a number of other Lumière titles in recent years, the quality of the supply suffers from the high demand.
