Aruanas plot

Brazilian eco-thriller with a sympathetic and urgent starting point. Four women, like Charlie's Angels without Charlie, set out in the Amazon forest to unravel an environmental crime. With help and advice from Greenpeace, there is a lot of potential and action in the theme.
Where the ingredients seem exciting and topical, the effect is unfortunately substandard. The scenario is predictable, characters are one-dimensional, the acting is mediocre and exciting and it never becomes compelling. As with a number of other Lumière titles in recent years, the quality of the supply suffers from the high demand.
